01 Our Walk
Our boiled wool is made from high-quality virgin wool and traditionally fulled. Heat, moisture, and movement create a dense fabric with natural insulation. Boiled wool is temperature-regulating, breathable, and provides reliable protection in cooler temperatures. At the same time, the material remains pleasantly light and particularly durable.

02 Our Fine Walk
For our fine boiled wool, we use particularly soft merino wool. The material is lighter, more supple, and pleasantly flexible, without losing the positive properties of wool. Ideal for transitional seasons, indoor wear, or clothing worn directly on the skin.

03 Our Merino Knit
Our merino knitwear is made from fine merino wool and offers a particularly soft feel. The fibers have temperature-regulating properties and support a comfortable body climate – ideal for everyday wear, baby clothing, and sensitive skin.

04 Our Cashmere Blend
The combination of cashmere and high-quality virgin wool combines pleasant warmth with a particularly soft feel. The material feels light, looks elegant, and at the same time ensures high wearing comfort in everyday life.

05 Alpaca, Merino Wool & Silk
Alpaca and silk complement each other naturally: alpaca provides pleasant warmth and a soft texture, while silk adds lightness and a subtle sheen to the material. The combination feels particularly high-quality and wonderfully soft.

Responsibility begins with the material
When selecting our materials, we focus on quality, durability, and responsible production. Many fabrics meet recognized standards and certifications – for a good feeling when wearing them and a conscious decision in everyday life.
cBH - controlled organic animal husbandry
Wool from certified organic animal husbandry comes from sheep that are kept in a species-appropriate manner. The animals receive organic feed and are raised under strict ecological guidelines – for improved animal welfare and responsible quality.
RWS - Responsible Wool Standard
The Responsible Wool Standard stands for responsibly sourced wool. Certified farms ensure animal welfare, sustainable grazing land, and transparent supply chains throughout production.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Products with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 have been tested for harmful substances and meet high requirements for skin compatibility and safety. This is especially important for textiles worn directly on the skin.
Mulesing Free
Mulesing-free wool comes from sheep that are intentionally spared the painful mulesing procedure. This means the wool stands for greater animal welfare and more responsible production.

GOTS Certification
Many of our materials are GOTS certified. This seal of approval guarantees that every Halfen product is manufactured ecologically and resource-efficiently, is free of harmful substances and chemicals, and is produced under fair working conditions.
