Alpaca wool is one of the most exquisite natural fibers in the world: exceptionally soft, warm, yet lightweight. Thanks to its fine structure, it feels pleasant against the skin and is particularly suitable for people who find other types of wool scratchy. A fabric that naturally combines warmth and comfort.

Alpaca Wool: Fine Warmth from the Andes
What is Alpaca Wool?
Alpaca wool is obtained from the fleece of the alpaca, a South American camelid that primarily lives in the highlands of the Andes. To survive at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters and with significant temperature fluctuations, the alpaca has developed a special fiber structure: fine, hollow, and exceptionally insulating. These properties make alpaca wool one of the most exquisite natural fibers available.
The Properties of Alpaca Wool
Soft and Skin-Friendly
Alpaca fibers are significantly finer than classic sheep's wool and feel pleasant against the skin. Since alpaca wool contains no lanolin, it is often well tolerated by people with sensitive skin.
Warm yet Lightweight
The hollow fiber structure traps air and acts like a natural insulating layer. This allows alpaca wool to warm particularly efficiently – without being bulky.
Temperature-Regulating and Breathable
Like all natural fibers, alpaca wool balances temperature differences and wicks moisture away from the body. This keeps the skin dry and retains warmth where it's needed.
Alpaca Clothing for the Whole Family
In our collection, you will find alpaca wool clothing for various age groups – from warm knitwear for women and men to styles for children and babies. Each piece is made from high-quality alpaca wool and designed for daily use.
Care for Alpaca Wool
Alpaca wool is naturally dirt and odor-resistant – frequent washing is rarely necessary. To refresh it, simply airing out the garment is usually sufficient. If needed, wash on a wool cycle with wool detergent at a maximum of 30 °C, do not spin, and dry flat to maintain its shape.
