Our knitting mill is the heart of Halfen. This is where the garments that accompany babies, children, and adults every day are created.Regional, fair, and with true craftsmanship. Every step of the process is carried out with care – from the first cast-on stitch to the last seam. But our knitting mill is not just a production facility; it's also a place of responsibility. By usingmulesing-free, GOTS-certified merino wooland deliberately avoiding unnecessary chemicals, we create clothing that is skin-friendly, durable, and ecologically sound.

Many of our materials are GOTS certified. This seal of approval guarantees that every Halfen product is manufactured ecologically and resource-efficiently, is free of harmful substances and chemicals, and is produced under fair working conditions. Especially mulesing-free merino wool is at the heart of our collections – it is temperature-regulating, soft, and a sustainable alternative to synthetic fabrics.
All our materials are, of course, GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard).
