Our Merino wool balaclava keeps your child's head, ears, and neck comfortably warm – without slipping or needing constant adjustment. It simply pulls over the head and sits softly against the face, while the wide neck area provides good protection. The fine Merino wool naturally regulates temperature and feels light and snug.

    • Fit

    The Merino balaclava is designed as one size and fits approximately from 1.5 to 5 years. Thanks to its elastic knitted structure, it snuggles comfortably without being stiff.

    The hat section protects the head and ears, while the attached neck section lies over a jacket or sweater like a small collar. This keeps the neck warm without the need for an additional scarf.

    Our tip: The balaclava is particularly practical for daycare, forest days, and the playground – just slip it on, and the head and neck are well-covered.

    Materials & Care

    The balaclava is made from 100% merino wool and is knitted in an elastic half-cardigan stitch. Merino wool is fine, breathable and temperature-regulating – it warms reliably without quickly building up heat. The hat is manufactured in our own knitting mill in Hungenroth near Koblenz.

    Wool naturally brings its own care. It absorbs odors only slowly and often freshens up on its own when aired out. Therefore, the balaclava does not need to be washed after every wear – fresh air is usually sufficient.

    Care tips:

    • Regularly air out, preferably lying flat in the fresh air
    • Clean small stains selectively with a damp cloth
    • If necessary, wash carefully by hand wash with wool detergent
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Do not iron and do not bleach

    With gentle care, merino knitwear remains beautiful and dimensionally stable for a long time – a natural warming piece that reliably accompanies you through many cold days.

    Benefit from the speed and reliability of our shipping partner DHL. Express deliveries are only possible to addresses within Germany and will be delivered on the next working day if you place your order Monday – Friday before 12 PM. Express delivery (excluding deliveries to packing stations) is only possible on the German mainland.

    Please note that orders placed on a Saturday will only be delivered on the following Tuesday – not Monday.

    For express delivery, a fee of €12.90 will be charged – even if the order total exceeds €150.00 and standard shipping would therefore be free.
