The HALFEN Baby Blanket accompanies your child from their very first days – in the stroller, in the crib, on the playmat. It is made of pure virgin wool, hand-processed in our own knitting factory in Hungenroth. Worsted yarn has a special property: it becomes softer with every wash and every use – not rougher. A blanket that grows with your child and stays with them.

Fit

The baby blanket measures 105 × 80 cm, providing ample space for use in a stroller or as a play mat on the floor. The size was intentionally chosen to be generous – not too small for the first few months, not too large for on-the-go.

Unlike many other materials, virgin wool has no significant tendency to shrink, as long as the care instructions are followed. With proper washing, the blanket will retain its shape and size for years.

Our tip: Lay flat to dry on an absorbent surface – never hang. This way, the blanket retains its shape and the yarn is evenly stressed.

Materials & Care

The baby blanket is made from 100% virgin wool – a woolen yarn whose open fiber structure makes it feel exceptionally soft against the skin. The wool comes from controlled sources, is free of pesticides and synthetic dyes, and is processed without chemical finishing.

Wool has a natural self-cleaning ability: odors and light soiling often disappear simply by airing it out in the fresh air. Frequent washing is therefore rarely necessary and protects the material.

Care instructions:
  • Regularly air out – preferably in fresh air, not in direct sunlight
  • Treat light stains locally with a damp cloth
  • If necessary, machine wash at 30 °C on a wool program with a low spin speed
  • To dry, spread flat on a surface, do not hang
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not iron, do not bleach
  • Occasional use of a wool detergent nourishes the fibers and maintains their natural softness

With proper care, the baby blanket will remain a reliable companion for many years – and will get a little bit softer with each wash.

Express Shipping with DHL

Benefit from the speed and reliability of our shipping partner DHL. Express deliveries are only possible to addresses within Germany and will be delivered on the next working day if you place your order Monday – Friday before 12 PM. Express delivery (excluding deliveries to packing stations) is only possible on the German mainland.

Please note that orders placed on a Saturday will only be delivered on the following Tuesday – not Monday.

For express delivery, a fee of €12.90 will be charged – even if the order total exceeds €150.00 and standard shipping would therefore be free.
