Deine Empfehlung

Als grobe Orientierung: feiner Walk (400 g/m²) eignet sich für mildere Tage bis etwa 0 °C, fester Walk (650 g/m²) für etwa +10 °C und kälter. Weiches Wollfleece (300 g/m²) ist besonders leicht und eignet sich für milde Tage und drinnen. Das Empfinden ist individuell und hängt auch von der Kleidung darunter ab.

The HALFEN Walk Wrap Overall, made from fine, GOTS-certified boiled wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, is specially designed for infants and small babies. The side wrap tie makes dressing and undressing easy – even when the baby is lying down or being carried. Fine boiled wool gently hugs the body and provides reliable warmth without restricting movement. Free from pesticides and synthetic dyes.

The tie-wrap technique is especially suitable for the very youngest – no zipper, no snap button, no pulling over the head. The overall adapts to the baby's movements while remaining closed.

Fit

The tie-up overall fits snugly – fine boiled wool clings to the body and gives way. The side tie allows for individual adjustment to the baby's body circumference.

Tip: If in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one – especially if the overall is to be worn over other clothing in the stroller or baby carrier.

Materials & Care

The tie-on overall is made from fine boiled wool of 100% organic virgin wool from controlled organic livestock farming – GOTS certified, free from pesticides and synthetic dyes. Fine boiled wool is denser and more dimensionally stable than knitwear, yet it feels softer than coarse boiled wool. Naturally water-repellent, antibacterial, and odor-neutral.

In most cases, airing out in fresh air is entirely sufficient.

Care tips:
  • Regularly air out in fresh air
  • Treat light stains locally with a damp cloth
  • Hand wash with lukewarm water and wool detergent if needed
  • Dry flat on a surface
  • Do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not bleach
  • Occasionally a lanolin bath renews the natural water repellency

With proper care, the overall remains dimensionally stable and functional for many months.
