Our chunky knit button-up top is a soft, warm jacket for the first few months – natural, cuddly, and knitted with great attention to detail. The fine merino wool feels comfortable against baby's skin and helps to naturally regulate body temperature. The side button placket makes it particularly easy to put on and take off – a great advantage especially for small babies.

    • Fit

    The chunky knit bolero has a comfortable cut so that it can be easily worn over a bodysuit, vest, or thin sleepsuit. The shape gives your baby enough freedom of movement without being baggy or bulky.

    The elastic ribbed cuffs on the sleeves and hem provide a comfortable finish and help the cardigan to fit snugly. The soft chunky knit allows the bolero to adapt gently and move well with small movements.

    Our tip: If your baby is between two sizes, we recommend the larger size. This leaves some room to grow and the bolero can be worn longer.

    Materials & Care

    The cardigan is made of 100% merino wool and is knitted in a soft, chunky half-brioche knit. Merino wool is particularly fine, breathable, and temperature-regulating – a beautiful natural fiber for baby clothes because it provides warmth without quickly overheating. The cardigan is manufactured in our own knitting factory in Hungenroth near Koblenz.

    Wool naturally takes care of itself. It slowly absorbs odors and often freshens up on its own when aired out. Therefore, the cardigan does not need to be washed after every wear – fresh air is usually sufficient.

    Care tips:

    • Regularly air out, preferably laid flat in the fresh air
    • Clean small stains specifically with a damp cloth
    • If necessary, gently hand wash with wool detergent
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Do not iron or bleach

    With gentle care, merino knitwear stays beautiful for a long time – a natural baby cardigan that, thanks to its simple shape and good workmanship, accompanies many small everyday moments.

    Please note that orders placed on a Saturday will only be delivered on the following Tuesday – not Monday.
