Which hat for which occasion?

Why wool for hats?

Wool is naturally temperature-regulating: It warms reliably without causing the forehead and head to overheat. It absorbs moisture, wicks it away, and neutralizes odors – hats made from merino wool and cashmere therefore need to be washed much less frequently than synthetic models.
