Fit

The beanie is available in two sizes: Size 1 for children aged 2 to 5 years, Size 2 for children aged 5 to 10 years. The information is based on the average head circumference in these age groups – children with a larger head circumference can switch to the next size earlier.

The knitted material has natural elasticity – the hat adapts to the head and fits well even with different head shapes. It has no brim, but the material's elasticity ensures a secure fit and prevents it from slipping.

Our tip: If a child is borderline between two sizes, it's better to choose the larger size – the hat will grow a little with the material, and a hat that is too tight will be uncomfortable.

Materials & Care

The beanie is made from 70% extra-fine merino wool and 30% cashmere, crafted from yarn sourced in Italy. Extra-fine merino wool has such a small fiber diameter that it doesn't feel uncomfortable on sensitive skin. Cashmere enhances this effect with its naturally fine structure and gives the knit a special softness. Both fibers are free from pesticides and synthetic dyes.

Wool often regulates itself naturally in many situations: it hardly absorbs odors and has a natural antibacterial effect. Brief airing after wearing is often sufficient – washing is less frequently needed than one might initially think.

Care tips:

  • Air out in the fresh air after wearing
  • Spot clean with a damp cloth for small stains
  • Hand wash when needed with a mild wool or cashmere detergent, lukewarm – never hot
  • Dry flat – do not hang, as this distorts the shape
  • Do not tumble dry – cashmere and merino wool shrink with heat
  • Do not iron, do not bleach

A well-cared-for cashmere beanie retains its shape and feel over many winter seasons – and can easily be passed on to a younger sibling.

Express Shipping with DHL

Benefit from the speed and reliability of our shipping partner DHL. Express deliveries are only possible to addresses within Germany and will be delivered on the next working day if you place your order Monday – Friday before 12 PM. Express delivery (excluding deliveries to packing stations) is only possible on the German mainland.

Please note that orders placed on a Saturday will only be delivered on the following Tuesday – not Monday.
