At HALFEN, our women's accessories are made from carefully selected natural fibers: merino wool, cashmere, and boiled wool. Each piece is crafted in our own knitting factory in Hungenroth – with the commitment that has guided us as a fourth-generation family business since 1928.

Our women's hats have a classic cut and an understated design – so they go with everything. The merino knit hat is available in a wide range of colors and provides reliable warmth through the winter. If you want something particularly fine, opt for the cashmere hat: light, soft on the skin, and with the typical elegant feel of the high-quality fiber.

From the light merino scarf for transitional weather to the generous cashmere triangular scarf for cold days – our scarves accompany you throughout the year. The merino scarves are temperature-regulating and breathable, while the cashmere triangular scarf is generously cut and can be draped in many ways. Our knitted neckerchief is also a timeless companion with clear lines.

The cashmere headband is the elegant alternative to a hat – warm without affecting your hairstyle. Our wool socks made from merino wool reliably keep your feet warm and are pleasantly soft on the skin – ideal for cold days at home or under boots.

All HALFEN accessories are produced in our in-house knitting factory in the Taunus region. We exclusively process natural fibers – with short distances, high quality standards, and the attention to detail that only a family business can develop over generations.

What materials are HALFEN women's accessories made of?
Our women's accessories are made from pure merino wool, cashmere, alpaca, and boiled wool. All materials are carefully selected and stand for high quality, durability, and natural wearing comfort.
Are the accessories made in Germany?
Yes. All HALFEN knitted accessories are produced in our own knitting mill in Hungenroth in the Taunus region. We have been manufacturing in Germany since 1928 and place great value on short distances and the highest workmanship quality.
How do I care for hats, scarves, and headbands made of wool and cashmere?
Wool and cashmere are naturally self-cleaning. Usually it is enough to air the accessories well. If needed, we recommend a gentle hand wash with a special wool detergent at a maximum of 30 °C. Dry flat, do not tumble dry.
Are the hats and scarves also suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our merino wool and cashmere are particularly fine and do not scratch. Both fibers are skin-friendly, temperature-regulating, and well tolerated even by sensitive skin.
Which accessory suits which season?
For the transitional season we recommend lightweight merino scarves and the cashmere headband. In deep winter, the cashmere hat, triangle scarf, and wool socks reliably keep you warm. Boiled wool accessories are particularly wind- and weather-resistant.
What sizes are available in the women's accessories?
Hats, scarves, and headbands are generally available as one size and, thanks to their elasticity, fit most head sizes. Wool socks are offered in sizes 35–38, 39–42, and 43–46.
